Editorial policy
Bold Concert Journal aims to make concert production choices understandable and usable. We distinguish general guidance from details that depend on a particular event, and we correct the record when we get something wrong.
Accuracy and scope
We check factual statements against suitable information before publication and avoid presenting guesses as settled facts. Where a subject depends on a venue, production or local requirement, we say so rather than offering a universal answer. Our articles are general editorial material, not a substitute for instructions from the people responsible for a specific event.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for relevance to the journal's subject and usefulness to readers. A partnership does not buy editorial approval or control over independent coverage. We do not invent sources, experience or credentials to make a point sound stronger.
Corrections
If you spot a factual error or unclear statement, contact us through the Contact page and identify the relevant article and passage. We review the information and make a correction when warranted; significant changes are noted so readers can understand what was amended.
Partner material and illustrations
Paid or partner material is clearly labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial work. Partner placements are identified wherever they appear. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; when used, they are labelled as such and are not presented as documentary photographs.
